Summary The chapter “Area 51: What Is Really Going on in There?” within the book UFOs, Chemtrails, and Aliens dives into the establishment of the Area 51 base and what has been going on there, and according to them, it has nothing to do with UFOs. The chapter begins with the location of the base, what surrounds it, and different ways you can view the base. The authors detail how well protected the base is with guards, cameras, multiple warning signs, and sensors on the road leading into the base. The chapter takes a shift when the authors mention that the CIA released documents that discuss Area 51 and what takes place inside it. As per the chapter, multiple aircraft were tested at Area 51. These aircraft were used as surveillance methods against foreign powers such as the Soviet Union. The chapter discusses various missions and the aircraft associated with them. The chapter takes yet another shift and considers the theories about UFOs and aliens. The authors discuss that there is so

A Working or Tentative Title: Area 51: Conspiracy Theory or Coverup?  Topic Description:  Area 51 has been an area of national interest for many decades now. Area 51 is one of Americas’s most secret domestic military facility established in 1955. Over the years, there has been widespread speculation that alludes that Area 51 is where government-driven UFO and alien research takes place. This topic has been an area of interest as many people are curious about the UFO and extraterrestrial life phenomenon. According to a New York Times article, “But U.F.O. enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists have long suspected that the base was devoted to the study — or even the captivity — of extraterrestrial life forms.” The popular debate is regarding what the government is testing and researching in the base, the UFO phenomenon, or advanced military technologies. Books and articles such as Area 51: The Graphic History of America’s Most Secret Military Installation , discuss the evidence that point

Summary This book review summarizes some of the findings within Annie Jacobson’s “ Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base .” It is discussed that Area 51 is where the U.S. government develops surveillance technologies. The review goes into some detail about other experiments occurring at the base involving nuclear weapons and the reverse engineering of foreign aircrafts. Many of the tests done at Area 51 are highly classified, with even high-ranking officials unaware of them. It also touches upon one of the cases which interested the reviewer involving a “Soviet ‘flying saucer.’” (Roche 73) The aircraft was made by captured German engineers in Russia which then proceeded to fly to the United States. Additionally, the aircraft even carried humans who were manipulated to look like aliens by Nazi scientists. The aircraft was later examined and “determined that their underlying design was not stable enough for space travel.” (Roche 74) Based on the book, U

Regardless of the government constantly denying it as anything but an AirForce facility, Area 51 has been the center for UFO theories for many decades. Why is Area 51 the home to UFO conspiracies and why is the government so adamant about hiding it? Sources: Krishnan, Armin. “Teaching about ‘Area 51’? Scouting the Area (51)

My topic has not changed since the first blog post; I am continuing to research Area 51 and the extraterrestrial conspiracy theories surrounding it. While searching on Google, the keywords “Area 51”, “conspiracy theories,” “aliens,” “UFOs” are the most useful in my research. While searching on Google, I came across multiple articles that discuss the theory of Area 51 being a base for government activity on UFOs and aliens. Many of the more recent articles discuss the “raid” that was meant to happen in September of 2019. Additionally, there were also many videos on the topic; however, they seem to be video forms of the articles. One of the more interesting findings on Google is many documentaries such as “Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers”, “Area 51: The Alien Interview”, and “Storm Area 51 Film”. These documentaries include Bob Lazar’s input, a man who claims to have worked at Area 51 and nearby S-4. The Wikipedia page of Area 51 is not what I initially expected. A relatively s
